When Is Extension Possible?
Extensions apply when administrative factors shortened your initial PGWP, not when you want to stay longer. For example, you can extend when:

✓ You can extend to match your original eligibility duration

Your PGWP was shortened because your passport was expiring before your full eligibility period.
Example: Eligible for 3-year PGWP, but passport expires in 1.5 years → received 1.5-year PGWP
