Kevin is originally from South Korea and immigrated to Canada in 1999. In 2006, he immigrated to Chiang Mai, Thailand, and returned back to Canada in 2011 to attend The University of British Columbia.
Fast-track to 2021, Kevin is a co-founder at Mygration and also co-founded ImmiSearch, a technology platform that democratizes Canadian immigration services. Kevin was accepted into the prestigious Entrepreneurship@UBC accelerator program as a notable social venture.
Kevin has gone on to compete in Canada-wide competitions placing in the top 10 start-ups at the Telus Innovation Challenge as well as the top 26 out of 200+ start-ups in Canada’s largest pitch competition hosted by New Ventures BC.
Kevin obtained his Honours Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law in early 2021. Shortly after, he obtained his license as an immigration consultant after passing the EPE exam with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). Kevin co-founded Mygration later in 2021 with Diana to modernize Canadian immigration services for Canadian start-ups, businesses and employers. Mygration incorporates hard work with technological innovation to offer their clients with a modern, efficient, and highly successful approach to immigration.
